At Elite Acacia Transfer, our aim has always been to do something different. We set out to offer business travel services in Loughborough that offered people all the trappings of a luxury VIP ride without the VIP price tag. But if this was to provide an authentic experience, we knew we could not compromise on the two most important aspects: vehicles and drivers. 

Getting the right car is the easy part. The whole idea of a mass-produced car, after all, is that there is widespread availability and so, when a classy Audi or a BMW rolls off the production line, every one knows just what they are getting. 

Good drivers are not made in factories

Finding the best drivers is the harder part. The tailor-made human does not simply roll off the production line like something out of the Aldous Huxley novel Brave New World. We should be thankful for that, of course – nobody wants to live in a dystopia – but while variety can make the world a more interesting place, everyone’s experiences of taxi use will testify to a rather greater variation in quality and courtesy among drivers than is ideally the case. 

We put tackling this at the heart of our mission. It simply will not do at any time to have drivers who are not good enough. While it is not unheard of for someone to be behind the wheel who is not genuinely qualified, a more common failing is simply for motorists to pick up bad habits once qualified and fail to shake them off, even when they have been penalised for motoring offences. 

All that can make a taxi journey somewhat intimidating, as some drivers act as if they have impunity to disregard the law and other road users.

The philosophy behind our approach

Driving well should be a courtesy as much as being polite and acting with decorum. In both cases, they contribute to a total experience that should be about so much more than just getting from A to B on your business trip, especially when the aim is to do so in style and luxury. 

Bringing these two elements together is all part of what we require from our drivers. This is why:
